Frequently Asked Questions

How much swimming will I be doing during the week?
Each session varies between 1-4km (all levels catered for) with both pool and Open Water sessions and a longer Open Water Swim Adventure swim, subject to weather conditions. Each session has a different focal point including speed, skills, technique, endurance, recovery, etc. The total distance covered will vary by ability and fitness.

I’m not a good swimmer or triathlete, will this camp be suitable for me?

We have a wide range of swimmers attending this camp. Swimmers will be placed into different lanes by speed and ability. Swimmers will not be asked to do more than what they are capable of doing. The camp is designed to highlight your current ability level and clearly understand what is required to improve on that.

Are non swimming partners able to attend?

When should I arrive for the start of the camp?
You should arrive on evening  before the start of the camp ready for a swim early next morning. The camp finishes on Sunday lunch time after the Adventure Swim, so book a late checkout if possible.

What’s the payment and booking process?
Bookings can be made via the booking page below. You can transfer the booking to another camp or another person. If we cancel the camp for whatever reasons you will get a full refund.

My camp does not have accommodation included - where do I stay?

Book your own accommodation either close the main  beach or the pool.  You will need to organise your own transport as well.
